History

KOGAP Enterprises, Inc., headquartered in Medford, OR, was founded by Anton Lausmann in 1954 as a timber products manufacturing company. By the early 1990s, in the face of industrial and environmental factors, the company’s then-president, Jerry Lausmann, reinvented the company and saved employees’ jobs in the process.

With the closing of KOGAP’s timber facilities, a real estate division was established and Stewart Meadows Golf Course was constructed. Our timber assets were sold, the proceeds of which were reinvested into a real estate portfolio throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Still family-owned and operated after four generations, KOGAP continues to thrive. Development of Southern Oregon’s premier mixed-use project, Stewart Meadows Village, is ongoing. A prominent member of the local community, KOGAP also partners with a variety of local organizations to make Southern Oregon an even better place to live.
